About Us Babas are a Gloucestershire family run business established in the early 1970's. Owner and manager Judy Woodward channelled her extensive experience into producing high quality baby bedding and sleep wear, soft furnishings and curtains for local Cotswold clients. She has been featured in leading home and garden magazines and her design and product advice sought by many leading nursery suppliers. Babas produce beautiful handmade products and using, wherever possible, English cottons and materials. Traditional methods and attention to detail as well as generous sizes and tried & tested practical elements ensure our products wear well and last for years. The new Babas range fills the gap that parents are looking for. Each item is made to order (and delivered between 7-10 days of ordering). A small team of dedicated and skilled staff work alongside Judy producing contemporary designs proudly made in England. |

Materials All of the materials and products on our website are made and sourced in England. We use 100% cotton, quality fillers and other materials such as pure cotton bindings. Care is taken over every aspect including the embroidery threads, buttons and other small details. Our pure cotton towelling is supplied from the only remaining towelling manufacturer in the UK. All of our products are fully machine washable unless otherwise indicated. |

Design Our contemporary designs by local artists suit all nurseries. Different fabrics are carefully chosen to provide a variety of look and feel, colour and texture. Over 30 years of experience enables us to make items that will fast become favourites. Generous sizing means our blankets stay tucked in, inset zips that won't get stuck with a good design to ensure each item is as gentle next to baby's skin as it is on the outside. |

Production Each appliqué is traced by hand onto the fabric and then cut out also by hand. The appliqué is then hemmed and hand embroidered. All our products from blankets to sleeping bags are cut out by hand and passed to our skilled seamstresses who carefully stitch the item together before adding the handmade appliqué. Each product is individually examined to meet our stringent quality controls and hand finished before finally adding our woven Babas label. |

Packaging All Babas bumper and quilt sets, toy bags, layettes and shoes are packaged within a hardwearing, dust proof calico bag piped in pink and blue. All other bed linen is carefully wrapped by hand using a hand tied ribbon. It is then put in a safe carrier box and posted to you within 7-10 days. A gift wrap service is also available. |

Gift Sets We know how difficult it can be to provide the perfect gift but with our gift layette bags you can choose any item from our range to suit your budget and tastes. Each layette bag will be wrapped in a practical calico bag and delivered anywhere in the UK (P&P inclusive). |

Bespoke Orders BaBas are happy to appliqué either your own design or we can help design a unique one for you and stitch it on onto any of our products. We can also make items to your requirements. |
